13yr Old Boy Caught at Border With Pot Taped to Body

Border Protection officers stopped a 13-year-old boy from smuggling marijuana taped to his body.

On Jan. 27, officers were screening travelers when they saw that the boy looked nervous and was wearing bulky clothes. He was identified as a U.S citizen and resident of Douglas, Ariz.

Officers searched the boy and found that he had packages of pot taped to his inner thighs, weighing about 1.7 pounds, with an estimated street value of $2,000.

They seized the marijuana and turned the boy was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for questioning. The boy was released to his custodial guardian.
