1,500 plants discovered in Cameron Park pot raid

Cameron Park police found more than 1,500 marijuana plants valued at over $1.2 million during a drug raid in Cameron Park on Thursday morning.

According to police reports, the house, located on Pasaga Court, was in operation for more than two and a half years.

Police say neighbors reported suspicious activity at the home three years ago, which largely contributed to the undertaking and success of the raid.

Nobody was in the home at the time of the bust.
