400 cannabis plants found in Brisbane raid

More than 400 cannabis plants have been uncovered in a police raid on a house in Brisbane’s southwest. A sum of cash was also found in the swoop on the home in Mitre St, St Lucia, which happened at 4.40pm (AEST) on Monday, police say. A 59-year-old man has been charged with possessing and producing a dangerous drug, possession of a utensil, and possession of a thing for use in the commission of crime. A 57-year-old local woman has been charged with possession of a dangerous drug. The pair will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
