Americans embrace marijuana while Amsterdam is changing it’s rules

It seems that as states across the U.S. are becoming more liberal on pot legalization, Amsterdam (frequently thought of as the legal pot capital of the world) is trying to clamp down on it.

The mayor of Amsterdam is seeking to close pot shops in his city. The reason, according to some reports, is that he thinks those shops (along with brothels, which he is also reportedly closing down) promote more crime.

Amsterdam without pot? According to one comedian that’s like a Miley Cyrus concert without the twerking, or a reality show housewife without Botox.
