Two men with handguns held up a Redding marijuana collective Friday, taking an unspecified amount of marijuana and a laptop computer, Redding police reported. The robbery at the Nothern Patients Group took place around 7:30 p.m. A 21-year-old employee of the collective told police the men entered, forced an interior door and confronted him with guns – a long-barrel revolver and a semi-automatic handgun.
Both assailants wore masks and one hit the employee in the face with a gun. They put marijuana and the computer into large, black duffel bags with gray straps and then fled. One suspect is described as a male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 180 pounds with dark gloves, a black sweatshirt with a white shirt, black pants and white shoes. He wore a bandana covering his hair and a white cloth with cut-out eyeholes over his face.
The other suspect was 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, wearing dark gloves, a gray sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. He wore a hat and a black mask. The approximate ages and the races of the suspects are not known.
