Drug Check Point Turns Up Marijuana And LSD *VIDEO*

TIFFIN, Iowa – Several people face charges Friday after law officers staged a “drug check” on Interstate-80 near Tiffin.

They say this is something they haven’t done in years. Law enforcement officials posted signs along the eastbound lanes of I-80 that read,”Drug Check Ahead.”

But officers say they only pulled over drivers who were committing traffic offenses, like speeding. However, officers say they did find drugs… including LSD and several pounds of marijuana.

More than 100 drivers were pulled over. Officers say it is likely they will have similar checks in the future.
