€400,000 cannabis plants seized in Dublin

Cannabis plants with an estimated value of €400,000 have been seized in Blanchardstown in Dublin. The plants were seized during a search by gardaí and the local Garda Drug Unit at an industrial unit in the area yesterday. Two men, aged 29 and 24, were arrested at the scene and are being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station. Separately, another two men were arrested following a search of a house in Castleknock. The search was carried out as part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs in the Blanchardstown. Two shotguns and a small amount of cannabis herb and cocaine were recovered at the house. The men, aged 26 and 24, are also being held at Blanchardstown garda station.
