Fourth Arrest Made after Undercover Officer Reveals Marijuana Selling Operation

A fourth arrest has been made in connection to a marijuana selling operation in St. Lawrence County. Timothy A. Thomson, 53, of 125 Old State Road in Dekalb Junction, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd degree, a class D Felony. Thomson was arraigned in the Town of Dekalb and released to the supervision of probation.

Three men have been arrested after an undercover operation revealed they were involved in selling large amounts of marijuana. On Tuesday, November 29th, members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force initiated the investigation that involved breaching a targeted group of men who were selling marijuana. Timothy A. Thompson II, 28, of 125 Old State Road, John-Charles M. Anson, 20 of 85 Bristol Road in Gouverneur, and Brandon W. Monroe, 31, of 580 County Route 18 in Richville, are all charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree, class D felonies.

An undercover officer was able to get the men to sell him a half pound of marijuana during the operation at 125 Old State Road in the Town of Dekalb. In total, over two pounds of marijuana and a sum of cash was seized during the operation. A fourth arrest is expected as the investigation continues.All three have been arraigned and released under the supervision of St. Lawrence County Probation Department.
