Kid Icarus: Uprising Gameplay Is Looking Great

Really great. In fact, to me it looks like Ocarina of Time crossbred with an energetic and strategic shooter. In this lengthy gameplay video, Masahiro Sakurai controls Pit through air, ground, and boss segments of the 3DS title.

This video is a snippet from a half hour stream from this weekend’s Nintendo World 2011. My favorite part includes the iconic and terrifying grim reaper enemies from the original, but mutated to behemoth proportions.
