Lionhead has kicked its first major patch update for Fable III, squinting and spluttering, out into the sunlight. Among other things, it attempts to fix a number of instances that could lead to corrupt save games and inevitable head-clutching woe. It also promises general frame-rate and performance improvements.
Elsewhere on the list of fixes, John Cleese-voiced Jasper the Butler is no longer prematurely silenced when entering the Sanctuary and a castle-dwelling chicken no longer rockets straight up into the air for several seconds when kicked. That last one sounds like a bit of a loss if you ask us.
Lionhead notes that the patch update, available for download now, doesn’t fix all issues related to Fable III but you can see what changes they made.
