Man found tending to more than 100 marijuana plants at Addison preserve

DuPage County Forest Preserve Law Enforcement Lt. Howard Oller said officers were responding to a citizen complaint at Cricket Creek Forest Preserve Friday when they found between 100 and 150 cannabis plants. After monitoring the site all day, officers arrested Ismael Garcia-Gomez, 29, of Bensenville, as he tended to the plants, Oller said.

Further details about the incident were not immediately available.

Garcia-Gomez has been charged with production and possession of cannabis, littering, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to DuPage County court documents.

He is being held in the DuPage County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.

    wat harm could he have done having thoes plants Wat make money? 2 me i think the government is just jelouse that ppl can make money. the cops are the drug dealers not us. at least we us ppl like to share the weed and the cops just wants to take it away from us for no reason
