STUART — A marijuana grower’s penchant for delivery may have been the undoing of a local grow house, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said.

During a traffic stop Thursday, deputies found a Domino’s Pizza delivery box with an address on it and trash bags filled with 35 marijuana plants. Deputies quoted the driver, Robert Bouchard, 35, of the 2000 block of Southeast Madison Street, Stuart, as saying the address on the box was where he got the marijuana.

Investigators got a search warrant and entered the gated Mariner Village subdivision and found 206 marijuana plants — with an estimated value of $206,000 — growing in an attached two-car garage of the address, outfitted with a lighting and cooling system. The Sheriff’s Office charged Daniel Clough, 27, and Steven Luce, 36, both of the 7100 block of Southeast Magellan Lane, with trafficking cannabis. The two men, who had been operating the grow house for two years, were being held at the Martin County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail each.

Bouchard was charged with cultivation and possession of cannabis and posted $10,000 bail Thursday.
