KSNV-TV reports state Assemblyman Paul Aizley will introduce the Compassionate Access in Nevada Act after the legislature opens this month.
Aizley is backing the proposed law written by marijuana dispensary owner Rhonda Shade.
Shade’s marijuana shop was raided by police last year.
In Nevada, you can register to consume medical marijuana, but you can’t sell the drug or grow more than seven plants at a time.
Under the proposed legislation, marijuana enthusiasts would no longer need a registry identification card to smoke pot.
Caregivers would also be able to grow and share marijuana with more than one patient if the bill became law.
