The Nintendo 3DS version of classic video game Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will feature the Master Quest for the game. The news was dropped in an interview at GDC last week.
If you’re anything like me, you played the original Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 and your view of what a video game could be was forever changed. Sadly, though, I never played the game on the GameCube, which means I missed the “Master Quest” that came with that version. The Master Quest basically re-arranged the dungeons and items in the game to provide a greater challenge for the hardcore.
The Nintendo 3DS will ship in the U.S. on March 27 for $249.99. Ocarina of Time 3D will be out some time in June.
