Naturally… You Can Now Buy Seahawks Themed Pot at a Seattle Marijuana Dispensary

Washington State has no shortage of things to eat or smoke in honor of one of its favorite football stars, Marshawn Lynch. Lynch (nicknamed “Beast Mode” for ridiculous touchdown runs like this) has been known to enjoy Skittles on the sidelines. So a butcher in Puyallup created a Skittles-infused sausage called, obviously, “Beast Mode.”

Now, the famously laidback football star has a specially grown strain of marijuana named after him too. The Queen Anne Cannabis Club, a medical marijuana dispensary in Seattle, sells “Beast Mode” (THC content: 17.6) for $13 a gram ($25 for two). Owner Nate Johnson tells the Seattle Times that the player-branded weed earned its nickname. As he explained to the paper:

Marshawn has gears when he’s running and it’s kind of like that. It has a little bit of a slow start and then kicks in. Marijuana may be legal in Washington, but NFL players still can’t use it without violating league rules. That means Lynch probably won’t offer up a review any time soon. It’s too bad, since on the rare occasion he decides to speak publicly, it’s usually amazing.

The state still hasn’t figured out exactly how it will regulate recreational weed, which means the dispensary can only take payments in the form of donations. If you do find yourself at Queen Anne Cannabis club before the Super Bowl, but in more of a dessert mood, they also have Seahawks-themed marijuana cupcakes available.
