Osceola County Florida Marijuana grow houses raided, two arrested

Investigators in Osceola County shut down a pair of marijuana grow houses on Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office said, arresting two men on cultivation charges. Officials said Osceola County Investigative Bureau agents raided homes on Florida Parkway and Larkspur Court in Kissimmee, finding 46 marijuana plants.

The plants ranged from one foot to six feet in height, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said. Arrested were Renier Denis, 32, and Ernesto Sanabria, 28, both of Kissimmee.

The pair face charges of cultivation of cannabis and theft of utilities, and officials say more charges are possible in the Osceola County Investigative Bureau investigation.  The OCIB is a narcotics and vice task force, which includes deputies, St. Cloud and Kissimmee police, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
