Pixel Force Halo Is Now Available — Free 8-Bit Halo Fun

Pixel Force Halo , the 8-bit Halo game has been released as promised by Eric Ruth, the man behind 8-bit DJ Hero and 8-bit Left 4 Dead. Eric has faced legal threats from Activision in regards to his Pixel Force DJ Hero game but that didn’t detour him from bringing us more great retro inspired games.

Pixel Force Halo uses basic NES controls to run, jump and shoot. Of course it wouldn’t be a Halo game without being able to throw grenades. The game gives Halo: Combat Evolved a side-scrolling makeover, complete with Halo themed clip-tune music. If you want to play the game for yourself you can download it here. Let us know what you think of it.
