Police looking for suspects in medical marijuana robbery in Northeast Portland

portland oergon hbtv hemp beach tvPolice are searching for the suspects involved in a Sunday morning robbery of a marijuana grow house in Northeast Portland, authorities said.

Police officers were called at 9:16 a.m. to a report of a robbery at a house in the 9600 block of Northeast Everett Street.

A male victim at the grow house told police he was on the back porch when two male suspects, one of whom was armed, approached him.

He said the armed suspect struck him with the handgun. The two suspects then entered the residence and stole multiple pounds of processed marijuana and then ran to a car outside where a male and female were waiting.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older blue or silver American-made sedan.

A female who was home at the time locked herself in the bathroom until the suspects left. A third male victim fled the scene on foot and had not yet returned when officers arrived.

The male victim hit with the gun was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. None of the victims live at the house, which police confirmed was a legal medical marijuana grow site.
