A PCSO needed hospital treatment after he was attacked while guarding a cannabis factory. The 25-year-old was attacked in Alexandra Road in Enfield by around ten youths who punched and kicked him to the ground before running into the house just before 3pm yesterday.
The house was raided earlier in the day by police who discovered large amounts of cannabis. The officer was standing guard outside when the attack happened. His personal phone was stolen and his police radio damaged in the attack, which left him needing hospital treatment for bruising and cuts to his face. He is now recovering at home.
Two 17-year-old boys have been arrested over the attack.
