The FBI and several Bay Area police agencies have uncovered an 80-plant marijuana grow operation in Oakland, according to Martinez police.

Officers were serving search warrants Wednesday related to a criminal case against 43-year-old Sang Ung and 27-year-old Mang Ung. The brothers were arrested in August in connection with an another alleged grow operation in Martinez.

One warrant resulted in the discovery of 80 marijuana plants and grow equipment in the 2600 block of Ninth Avenue in Oakland, Lt. Jon Sylvia said.

Sang Ung was arrested again — this time on an unrelated warrant — in Alameda in the 300 block of Lina Avenue. Police said they seized four firearms during the arrest.

CBS 5 reported that authorities initially went to the wrong address on Lina Avenue, surprising one the station’s news correspondents at home.
