After murmurs of the famed eatery’s arrival on the Las Vegas Strip went public this week, White Castle, the slider hamburger chain, officially announced its move out west. Jamie Richardson, vice president of the chiefly East Coast eatery, said Thursday that the company reached a deal with Las Vegas restaurant developer Herbst Richardson to set up a White Castle within the Best Western Plus Casino Royale Resort.
The location is anticipated to open in late November, according to Jamie Richardson. The Ohio-based White Castle owns and operates more than 400 restaurants in 12 states. In recent years, hungry Las Vegans have gotten a sampling of White Castle sliders thanks to various food events a couple of times a year.
The Las Vegas location is expected to be the first White Castle restaurant in the western United States. Contact for both the Casino Royale and Herbst Richardson for further details about the opening, but executives from both businesses were not immediately available for comment.
