Three men appear in court on charges relating to €1.5m cannabis seizure

Three men have appeared in court in connection with a €1.5m drugs seizure in Cork. They were charged at Cork District Court yesterday evening with possession, and possession for sale or supply, of cannabis resin.

Jerome O’Halloran, 59, from St Joseph’s, Boreenmanna Road, Cork, was charged with possession of €900,000 of cannabis at St Joseph’s Boreenmanna Road on September 28 and possession of cannabis resin for sale or supply at the same location on the same date.

Trevor Williamson, 46, was charged with possession of €900,000 worth of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at St Joseph’s on the same date.

Mr Williamson, from Meadowbrook, Heron’s Wood, Carrigaline, was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of €600,000 worth of cannabis resin at Boreenamanna Road on September 28.

Michael O’Connell, 53, from O’Malley Park, Southill, Limerick, was charged with possession and possession for sale or supply of €600,000 worth of cannabis resin at Boreenmanna Rd on September 28.
