Wife finds marijuana & pipe in toolbox

A 41-year-old woman called authorities after she found some marijuana and a pipe in a toolbox out in her garage about 11 p.m. Sept. 7, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

The woman told authorities that her estranged husband had been over the home in the Fieldstone subdivision in Cumming to see their son earlier in the evening.

She said she heard her husband go through the toolbox in the garage.

When he left, she went out into the garage to look at the toolbox, where she found marijuana and a pipe.

The deputy said that because the marijuana was, “obtained through an illegal search and seizure,” no legal action could be taken against the woman’s estranged husband.

The marijuana and pipe were confiscated to be destroyed.
